About Me

Who?

My name is Andrew Jonathon Clarke - hence the shortened version AndyJonC, which is a moniker I have used since the mid-90's, when I signed up for my first ever email address at Hotmail.

What?

My passions include football, motorbikes and films. I am a Libra, according to most horoscopes, although some place my birthday in the Scorpio category. Either way I don't really believe in all that anyway so it's largely irrelevant to me!

When?

I was born in October 1978. I was brought up in the 80's as a child and the 90's as a teenager. Since the new millennium life has got harder, more stressful and generally less fun. Only joking, but you certainly don't realise how easy you have it as a kid!

Why?

I made this website for many reasons. As mentioned on the homepage, mainly to provide a central point of communication for my family and friends (this website in previous guises was available before Facebook and Twitter exploded onto the scene!). It was also a useful way to develop my web design skills and to showcase an example website to potential customers. I also hope this website will help in displaying background information on myself to potential recruiters and also eBay customers.

I live in Cornwall, but was born in Essex. All of my family still live in Essex so I go back as often as I can. Cornwall is a beautiful part of the country, but only when the sun is shining. When it rains it's much the same as everywhere else as you can't utilise the countryside as much!
